Tomorrow, I'll be graduating with a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Psychology.
I've already applied in a job placement agency and tutoring season is almost over. I'm also being given offers to teach English in other tutoring agencies.
My original works were on hiatus in favor of
World of Warcraft fan stuff due to creativity stagnation (in general, my inspiration was dry). After a year of
COTHing along, my dry spell is finally over and my creativity block has been lifted.
Tales of Okasan will be back in development,
Devil's Eye is in need of cultural and historical fine-tuning as well as story refinement, and
The Angel Servant's story is in the works.
Meanwhile, I'm introducing a "testing the waters" story with a quick and easy tale in a Filipino mythology-inspired story featuring my WoW characters converted to their sources of inspiration. It doesn't have a proper title yet, but pending titles are "A Philippine Fairy Tale" and "Baga the Giant". I don't like either, however, they suck.
Carlock is still not fixed, due to my job being insufficient to pay much more than a month's worth of McDonald's and gas to go to work (I don't get compensation for travelling, resulting in an already measely paycheck being cut in half for any other spending). With school out of the way, I should be able to finally finish that list of commissions. If you're waiting still, do bug me. I never forgot about them--life was just so busy, and I put higher priority in quality in my commissioned work than quick, dirty stupid sketches.
For AIM buddies, if you're wondering where I went, here it is: since I began focusing on this semester, when I do come online to talk and RP with friends, they tend to be during the hours most of you would be asleep (11 PM-2 AM Pacific Time), and I'm not on very long (not much longer than 2-3 hours). In addition to this, my buddy list would not load at times, and sometimes this happens without me even knowing. I've since then abandoned AIM in favor of Skype, due to its ability to receive messages while I'm offline. It's also extremely handy in keeping logs. The downside, it's murder on my CPU, so even then, I may log off at times in order to increase computer performance.
So yeah. I'm alive. I'm sorry if any of you are worried about me or what happened to your art trade and commissions. I still have the request notes, just barely any time to sit down without worrying about work or school.
