Gosh, these are so old @_@ But I had a lotta fun doing these when I did ^_^ It didnt take me that long to do them, although probably the ones who had me sittin on my butt researching online for good pics (because my player's guide is OLD and my N64 wasnt working ;__; ) are Bill (for his freakin helmet and costume) and Katt (looking for the comics). As for Krystal, well, it's hard to draw a bikini as a sprite >>

I wouldn't recommend using the sprites, even if you hope to use my template. The sprites made here are made with a variation I personally made of the Pokemon trainer's sprite in the original Blue/Red games, so they're made with the idea of the characters travelling across wide spaces but not much else. If you want to make a fangame, you first have to decide what sort of gameplay this game follows: is it an RPG, a side-scrolling platformer, etc? Also, the bits may also affect how you'll set up the graphics, so you may have a limited set of colors as well.

Otherwise, sprite making isn't that hard--it's more tedious if anything, since you'll have to be totally devoted to create different sprite sets for each individual character. I am, though, curious how you'll actually make this game; besides Flash, I don't know any interactive game makers available online as a freeware or as purchaseable software, and I hope to get my hands on it and maybe create my own original games.

its an rpg and i have about 80-90% of the character list up and its going to be done on rpg maker 2003, it has a free download and i find it pretty good
