That's it. Playing the 'Ignore' Game.

Drawn summer of last year.

"Okay, this deserves some explanation. There is this father who comes to the pool where Gian has his swimming classes. Alongside his son, who is also taking the class, is his younger daughter, likely around 2 years old because she's still in a diaper. The little girl LOVES the water, but the showers and pool are reserved for the swim students. Nevertheless, the girl won't listen to her father's warnings not to play in the water, so every time she goes around to play with the water ANYWAY, her father decides not to reward bad behavior by playing the Ignore game.

Last class I took Gian (which occurred after I finished pencilling this picture), both the father and daughter wised up. The girl stays close to her daddy and doesn't play with the water. BUT... the dad decides to dress her up in a swimsuit and let her play with the puddles that collected by the poolside, even going as far as to stomp on the water to splash the girl. She giggled so brightly.


Most adorable daddy-daughter moment I've seen in a long time. I'm such a big sucker for daughter-daddy moments (especially given I myself am a daddy's girl )."
